Crine on top in LA, 6 Bombers set for the Finals.
Los Angeles CA, – August 26, 2012 – The final regular season event on the 2012 Stadium Power Tour went out like a show bomb, as the Long Haul Bombers staged an epic home run derby at LA’s legendary, Dodger Stadium.
Team Easton earned top honors by winning the Manufactures Cup. The dynamic duo of Brett “The Hitman“ Helmer and Brain Wegman paced Easton all season long. Helmer lead off the show with 10 points, including some massive shots to right field. Brian Wegman followed with 9 points, including 4 Evil Softballs that he blasted completely out of Dodger Stadium. “I hit a few REALLY good ones, the balls that left the park, were definitely in the sweet spot.”
Denny Crine was the top Bomber in LA with 12 points. His classic smooth swing was on display before 41,097 fans. “It was a great show, we could really hear the big crowd, and they responded well, now it’s on to the finals for the big show at Miami.“

In LA, the stars came out. The Bombers met Olympic Gold Medal swimmer Jessica Hardy and former Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda.
The Bombers hit before the Dodgers & Miami Marlins game and members of the Marlins watched the home run derby. The Marlins are looking forward to seeing the Bombers next month at the Stadium Tour Finals in Miami. Pitcher Chad Gaudin told Kevin Filby that the new park will test the hitters. “He said it’s a pitchers park and statistically he’s right, but we accept that challenge, I’m ready to thrown down and win it all for DeMarini at the finals “.
