August 16, – Miami FL – Brian Wegman led the regular season finale at Marlins Park in Miami and easily qualified for the Stadium Power Tour Finals. “Wegs” crushed Evil Softballs and scored 11 points. He had a few show bombs above the Clevelander Club in left center and into the Budweiser Bar concourse at 450 + feet.
Easton’s Brett Helmer smashed out 10 points into the upper deck in right field and the “Hitman” is also in the finals. Scott Kirby was just one point shy of making it, but “Kirbs” took the high road. “I would have loved to hit the money ball tonight, but it just did not work out, my hat’s off to Chris Grienert, he’s off to the finals “.
Miami softballer Ryan Burnac won a contest to hit with the Long Haul Bombers. Ryan did well, hitting 3 Evil softballs out of Marlins Park and was a featured interview on MLB.com.
The Long Haul Bombers hit after the Marlins & Giants game and before a spectacular fireworks show, as the Marlins rolled back the roof at Marlins Park on hot August night in Miami.
