The 2012 Long Haul Bombers, Stadium Power Tour blasts off this Saturday night May 5 at Petco Park in San Diego.
Team Miken,Team Easton and Team Louisville Slugger TPS stage their one of kind home run derby after the Padres game. First pitch for the Padres and LA Dodgers is 5:35 PM San Diego. www.sandiego.pardes.mlb.com
This will be the first chance for fans to see some of the new players. Team Miken features two time champ Denny Crine. DC is paired with Ed “The Kid“ Vega and Crine is impressed with the slugger from Southern California, “Ed will absolutely murder the ball“.
Also taking cuts Saturday night is Team Louisville Slugger’s Tim Cocco and Lee Powers. Cocco is a veteran on the tour, known for big hits, his new teammate Lee Powers brings has a long history with the long ball.
The dynamic duo of Team Easton’s Brett “The Hitman” Helmer and Brain Wegman round out the big show in San Diego, Helmer says this is Easton’s year. “No doubt Wegs and are ready to take the crown, it’s our time and we’re ready.”
Team Combat sports a clever mix of youth and seasoned experience, led by veteran Johnny McCraw, who has claimed a Stadium Power Tour Championship a few seasons ago. He’s joined by young, hard hitting Brandon Perry.

The Long Haul Bombers are a collection of the world’s greatest softball homer run hitters. They stage a one of kind home run derby at Major League ball parks across America. Each Bomber gets 15 swings, each home run is worth one point, except for the last pitch, known as the money ball, which is worth 2 points and can be the tiebreaker.
