Las Vegas, Nevada – At the ASA Stadium Power Spring training, vet’s Brain Wegman and Scott Kirby took BP with workman like stye. Team Easton’s dynamic duo of ” Wegs and Kirby” are always going to be favorites to win it all.
Last season, Kirby jumped out to an early lead and was on a fast track to a championship. But it all changed in 15 pitches at the finals in OKC. Despite reports of a injured wrist, Kirby takes the high road and does not offer excuses for not winning it all.
But what is certain, his new Easton Kirby bat is sure to be a a hit. “It’s an honor to have a bat named after you. And it’s an awesome bat. Easton knows how to design a bat, it has plenty of pop right out of the wrapper, it’s durable and it will help your game.”
Wegman and Kirby have one more reason to step up their game. Easton’s home run legend, Brett “The Hitman” Helmer might be looking over their shoulder. The former champ of the Power Tour still has plenty of game. It won’t be a total surprise if “Hitman” makes a cameo appearance, if so heads up in the outfield!
